The rains have slowed a lot....just occasional showers now. I tried to
get some of the standing water out of the hole with the sump pump I'd been
using to power the stream in my small pond. In some places the water was
over four inches deep. It was mostly an opportunity to buy some rubber
boots and go play in the mud.
