The heavy equipment arrived today. Next to the backhoe you can see
the oil tank we had to pull out of the ground. Aside from the environmental
considerations we have to worry about structural issues, since we plan
on putting a concrete footing right over the hole it came out of.
The only thing holding the structure to the main house now is a few
of the second floor joists.
George is running the backhoe. He's going to try to grab the roof and
pull the whole structure forward into the driveway. Unfortunately,
it was well built and doesn't want to come down. Eventually he has to
knock out the front part and then push the side to the left, which
finally brings it down.
